LGM Products

We offer a wide range of off-the shelf products for remedial purposes . These products range from standard petrophilic (oil-eating) microbial mixes for routine treatment of soils and waters to mixes designed to specifically degrade chlorinated solvents, pesticides and PCB’s to sorbents for spills. We also offer nutrient packages to support all of our microbial products, as well as custom analytical work and special laboratory waste treatability studies.

All of our standard products come packaged in a wide variety of containers. From small containers to 55 Gallon drums to 250 Gallon totes for large projects, we can supply the quantity of material you need for your specific job. As part of our environmental responsibility program, we provide our off-the-shelf products in reusable containers.

All of our products are manufactured following a rigid quality control program, and are warranted against manufacturing defects. All microbial products provide a minimum titer (bacterial concentration) sufficient to meet or exceed our recommended viable bacteria per gram of treated material if the product is handled and applied in the prescribed manner. All of our products are tested in our fully equipped laboratory and we can provide certificates of analysis upon request.

LGM can custom-blend a product for a specific need (such as simultaneous chlorinated/non-chlorinated treatment), or we can grow a microbe specifically tailored to a waste and package it in a deliverable form. Since microbes have a extremely wide range of tolerance to and appetite for organic compounds, this leads to a nearly unlimited potential to create a product that will treat your specific waste.

In addition to our standard and custom-blend product lines, LGM offers Laboratory services and treatability studies. We maintain a complete analytical laboratory, and can offer full analytical services, from nutrient monitoring to regulatory-compliant closure testing. We also offer pre-treatment assessment of waste treatability, including proper product selection and optimum application rates.

PETROLEUM BASED HYDROCARBON PRODUCT OVERVIEW

SRP, NRP

These products are used for soil remediation where spills occur of petroleum-based hydrocarbons, such as crude oil, diesel fuel, gasoline, transmission fluid, glycols, benzenes and other petroleum-based hydrocarbons. These products may also be used to clean soils of food oil spills and dumping from facilities such as restaurants and food processing plants. NRP is used where contamination levels are higher than 60,000 mg/kg TPH as a provision of additional nutrients. (MSDS)

ERASER (MDS-E)

This product is designed to encapsulate and capture the VOC's allowing for the ease of eliminating the compounds through physical removal or addition of our SRP product to totally eliminate the the hydrocarbon molecule. SRP contains a microbial mixture that eats the petroleum hydrocarbons present in the rinse water, thus obviating the environmental impact of the runoff. It is a bio-degradable polymer blend, not a surfacant, that has had successful application in both refinery and other industrial applications. (MSDS)

KNOCKOUT

This compound is used for the purpose of releasing solids and/or ash in any crude oil stream but especially in clarified bunker fuel streams. It is based on a polymer/solvent blend that has had years of successful application in both refinery and other oil and gas applications.  The residual polymer that will remain in the crude oil recovery process is based on solid chemistry that actually assist in desalting and sustaining and maintaining flow ability characteristics of the solids found at the bottom of these particular storage tanks.(MSDS)

RSP

Manufactured compound used for the purpose of liquefying and allowing quick separation of crude oil tank bottom residuals. Unlike most available products RSP does not contain surfactants noted to cause dispersing effects that not only cause undesired oily/particulates to be dispersed in the effluent stream causing havoc in the bacterial degradation in the bio-ponds but also making it more difficult for clarification of the effluent for ease of disposal or reuse.  (MSDS)

ENHANCER

Enhancer is a product used in producing wells to enhance production flow rates. The product will assist in correcting formation damage due to paraffin and/or asphaltene. The process not only assists in removing the damaged material but, by laying this minute film, the flow is also capable of a long term production rate rather than a short term increase found in many downhole stimulation application techniques. The film is able to maintain its characteristic for long durations.(MSDS)

GOLD

Our Great Organic Liquid Degreaser is a polymer/solvent based cleaner that lowers PH and helps reduce COD's safely and rapidly - without being as caustic as other cleaners. GOLD is environmentally safe and waste-water friendly, as well as very cost effective. (MSDS)

WRP

This product is water-soluble and is used for water remediation and water treatment of petroleum-based hydrocarbons, such as vessels, pipelines, tank containment areas, bays, lakes and aquifers, ground water, and water wells. These products may also be used to eliminate food oils and clean grease traps. (MSDS)

MARINE

This product is used to absorb and eliminate petroleum hydrocarbon sheens and/or spills on water, such as oil and fuel, and is activated by the water. This product stays suspended in the water and consumes the hydrocarbon in a day or two, thus protecting marine life. (MSDS)

HSR

This product can also be used to eliminate hydrocarbons from hard surfaces such as concrete, stone, wood, metal and other surfaces. This product may be used to help eliminate fresh or existing spills and stains such as oil, fuel, transmission fluid, brake fluid, and other fluids including food oils by eating the product from the surface. Any stains that remain are then removed by spraying the liquid solution that we provide onto the affected area. Most stains will be removed within a day or two. (MSDS)
